Chocolate Chunk Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Add 2 Tbsp chia with 6 Tbsp water and let sit in a small bowl.
  3. In a new bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the chia, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In the old chia bowl, mix baking soda and hot water. Stir, then add to the rest of the mixture along with salt.
  5. Stir in flour by folding the mixture, part way through add in chocolate chunks and walnuts.
  6. Use a spoon to drop as lumps onto an ungreased pan. Bake for 10 minutes, or until edges are brown.
